Woodpeckers at Work: Black Walnut decorative spoon with holes made by woodpeckers

The wood for this sculptural spoon was discovered by photographer Rudy Hellmann during a field shoot. He found the three holes drilled by woodpeckers to be most interesting and asked me to create a spoon around them. Although this piece is not for sale, I welcome inquiries for commissioned work of a similar sensibility.
